I've always been passionate about art and writing, so getting my MFA in creative writing really wasn't a surprise (joining the Marine Corps before hand was).
I grew up all over the United States before living in Okinawa for 5 years. I'm now settled in Southern Louisiana with my two kids and almost one too many cats.
